A family's unlikely bond between two social classes is put to the ultimate test as their vastly different worlds collide, leading to a thrilling power struggle for dominance.

A poor family, the Kims, living in a cramped apartment in Seoul, dream of escaping poverty. The son, Ki-woo, gets a tutoring job with a wealthy family, the Parks, by lying about his education. He recommends his friend, "Jessica," who is actually his sister, to be the art therapist for the Parks' son. The Kims hatch a plan to replace the Parks' servants, starting with the loyal housekeeper, Moon-gwang, who knows the house better than anyone.
