Six iterations of Bob Dylan, each embodying a different persona, are brought to life through music, monologues, and relationships. Set against the backdrop of 1960s documentaries in black and white, each character is placed at a crossroads, where they evolve into someone new. The story follows Jack, who finds Jesus, Robbie, who falls in love and abandons Claire, Woody, a young hobo who sings his way across the country, Billy, who awakens in a valley threatened by a highway, Rimbaud, who speaks his mind, and Jude, who defies classification after being booed at Newport for going electric.
