In the tranquil town of Lake Placid, a game warden relocates his family, unaware that a dark history of deadly crocodile attacks once plagued the area. Despite locals' reassurances that the crocodiles have vanished, his curious young son inadvertently revives the menace by feeding baby crocodiles, which rapidly mature into massive and ferocious adults. The game warden's family and the nearby town soon become their targets.
