A decades-long investigation unfolds in 1942 Warsaw, as Major Grau of German Intelligence delves into the murder of a Polish prostitute and German agent, suspecting three Generals of being complicit.

In 1942, a Polish prostitute is brutally murdered in Warsaw. Major Grau, a German Intelligence agent, is tasked with investigating the crime. An eyewitness reports seeing a German General leaving the scene, leading Grau to suspect three high-ranking officers who have no alibi for the night. As Grau closes in on them, he is promoted and transferred to Paris, where he continues his investigation.
