Glory Daze: The Life and Times of Michael Alig

A nostalgic exploration of 1990s New York City's vibrant nightlife, as seen through the eyes of the legendary Club Kids, leading up to the highly anticipated freedom of Alig.

In 1987, a new group of artists, known as the Club Kids, rose to prominence in New York City's nightlife scene following the death of Andy Warhol and the decline of his "Factory". Led by Michael Alig, who initially sought a career in fashion, the Club Kids dominated the city's party scene with their outrageous antics and creative excesses. However, their reign eventually ended in tragedy with Alig's imprisonment for the murder and dismemberment of fellow Club Kid and drug dealer Angel Melendez, marking the demise of the NYC Super-Club era.
