John Barrabbee's plane makes an unexpected landing, leading him to join a cattle drive led by Roy. However, he soon discovers that his plane had crashed and he was presumed dead. Meanwhile, he learns that his daughter is planning to sell his ranch and marry a man he detests. To prevent these events, John disguises himself and sends Roy to the ranch to try and stop them while he remains in hiding.
