Hands Across the Border background

Hands Across the Border

Two horse breeders, Adams and Brock, engage in a fierce competition for a lucrative Army contract. After Adams meets a fatal accident while riding his prized horse Trigger, Roy steps in, saving the horse and deciding to train Trigger for a high-stakes race with the contract as the ultimate prize.

In the small town of Buckaroo, the Adams family has a long history of breeding fine horses. The current patriarch, Jeff Adams, is proud of his family's legacy, but he's more interested in gambling than running the ranch. Meanwhile, the cunning Brock Danver is scheming to take control of the Adams ranch and its famous horses. When Roy Rogers, a charming singing cowboy, rides into town, he catches the eye of Jeff's daughter Kim and helps her thwart Danver's plans.
