The Emperor Kuzco, a vain and cocky ruler, is busy planning his birthday celebrations, including the construction of a new waterpark for himself, which will destroy a nearby village. Meanwhile, his administrator Yzma plots to overthrow him and takes advantage of a botched assassination attempt, turning Kuzco into a llama. The llama, now the property of a llama herder named Pacha, must rely on Pacha's help to regain his throne, but only if he agrees to move the waterpark.
