In 1874, the Texas Rangers face a new challenge as Sam Bass and his gang of notorious outlaws prove too formidable for the Rangers to handle. To counter this threat, the Ranger Major releases two seasoned prisoners who possess knowledge of Bass's hideouts and haunts, and sends them on a mission to track down the elusive outlaw.
