A wealthy gold mine owner is brutally murdered by a rival, who seeks to claim the mine for themselves. The mine's friend, Hoppy, takes over the operation and discovers that the rival's men are secretly working the mine at night. Hoppy captures one of the rival's men, but is later captured and left for dead in a burning building.
