Soviet, Nicaraguan, and Cuban troops parachute onto a Colorado high school football field, prompting a group of teenagers to flee into the mountains. Armed with basic hunting gear, the teens face a harsh winter and Soviet K.G.B. patrols. After killing a group of Soviet soldiers, they begin their own guerrilla warfare against the invaders, fighting under the name "Wolverines!"
