Temple Grandin

Temple Grandin, an autistic woman, overcame her limitations to become a Ph.D. and expert in animal husbandry. She developed an interest in cattle at her aunt and uncle's ranch, despite struggling with communication and social interactions. Grandin's "hug box" and humane cattle processing plant design have been widely recognized and awarded. Today, she is a professor at Colorado State University and a renowned speaker on autism and animal handling.
