Sisters from a vaudeville background chase their dreams of becoming Broadway stars, but their personal relationships threaten to derail their ambitions.
Vaudeville performers Hank and Queenie Mahoney arrive on Broadway, where they're reunited with friend Eddie Kerns, who's part of a show produced by Francis Zanfield. Eddie, who's long had a crush on Hank, falls for Queenie instead, but she's being courted by Jock Warriner, a high-society member.
