14-year-old Sikandar Raza, a football talent living with his uncle and aunt in Kashmir after his parents' militant-related death, finds a pistol on his way home from school. Despite warnings from new friend Nasreen, Sikandar picks it up, believing it's the answer to his problems. He meets a mysterious young man who teaches him to be a great shot, but Sikandar becomes caught up in political warfare, killing innocent people.
