Adam Ratcliffe was born in the Philadelphia area, where his early life was deeply influenced by his family's involvement in the entertainment industry. His mother, a talented singer, was raised by parents who were also involved in show business during the 1940s. In fact, Adam's maternal grandparents were a significant part of the entertainment scene, with his grandfather appearing in several off-Broadway shows. This family background instilled a passion for singing in Adam, his youngest grandson.
As a young child, Adam's grandfather played a pivotal role in nurturing his interest in singing. At the tender age of five, Adam taught his entire kindergarten class one of his grandfather's favorite old show tunes, "Red Red Robin," and they performed it for the entire school. This early experience planted the seed for his future in the performing arts.
Adam's stage presence and singing talent were evident from an early age. He began performing on stage in elementary school, laying the foundation for his future career in the entertainment industry.
Adam's professional journey began in 2005, when he received his SAG card for his role as Jimmy the tow truck driver who discovers a bomb on Law and Order "Criminal Intent." Since then, he has worked steadily on prime-time network shows, mostly in New York City.
One of his most notable roles to date is that of Ethan Rengepis in David Vincent Bob's biopic "Right Before Your Eyes." This role earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the prestigious International Independent Christian Film & Music Festival in Orlando, Florida, in May 2019.
Adam's personal life is just as fulfilling as his professional one. He is married to his wonderful wife, Andrea, and they have a loving son named Carter. Together, they are dedicated to their amazing, tight-knit family.
