Canadian actress and emerging writer Addyson Douglas embarked on her entertainment industry journey at the tender age of 14. Her introduction to the world of performing arts was sparked by her participation in competitive dance and artistic gymnastics, which ultimately led to her landing her first television role in the teen drama series The Next Step in 2013.
Following her high school graduation from Mayfield Secondary School, Addyson shifted her focus from part-time to full-time acting training, enrolling in various Toronto studios, including LB Acting Studio, Armstrong Acting Studios, and the renowned Second City Training Centre.
Her impressive acting skills soon caught the attention of casting directors, and she was subsequently cast in the role of Emily Diaz in the USA Network's drama series Dare Me, which premiered on December 29, 2019.
When not gracing the screens, Addyson dedicates her time to refining her skills in writing and music. Her debut original song and music video, Addyson Douglas: Flames, was released on February 14, 2020, showcasing her burgeoning talent in the music industry.
