Alan Mehdizadeh's life story began in Hastings, East Sussex, a charming coastal town in the southeastern part of England.
As a young man, Alan's passion for the performing arts led him to the Questors Theatre in Ealing, where he made his stage debut at the tender age of 14 in a production of "Godspell". This marked the beginning of his journey in the world of theatre.
Alan's next notable performance was at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, where he played the role of Cowslip in a production of "Watership Down". This experience was followed by a stint on the popular BBC children's television show "Grange Hill", where he became a regular fixture.
After completing his education, Alan graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth in 2007, with a degree in Drama.
In addition to his university studies, Alan also attended Richmond Upon Thames College and Drayton Manor High School.
Alan's professional career has been marked by a series of notable roles in the West End. He joined the cast of "Kinky Boots" in 2016, playing the part of Don, and later took on the role of Big Davey in the musical "Billy Elliot the Musical". He also appeared in the live cinema release and subsequent DVD release of the show.
In 2016, Alan starred in the UK premiere production of "Swap!", a play written and directed by Ian Ogilvy. The production toured the UK, with Alan playing the role of Harry "The Hammer" Henson alongside several well-known TV personalities, including Kim Tiddy and Louisa Lytton.
