Alec Su was born on September 11, 1973, in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a Chinese singer and actor who rose to fame in the late 1980s as a member of the idol singing group Little Tigers.
As a teenager, Su was already a talented student, attending Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School and later being accepted into National Taiwan University. However, he chose to pursue a career in show business instead, joining Little Tigers in 1988 at the age of 15.
With Little Tigers, Su became a household name in Taiwan and beyond, attracting fans from all over the world. The group's popularity helped launch a new generation of Taiwanese pop culture in the early 1990s.
After Little Tigers disbanded in 1995, Su transitioned to a film career, landing a role in the hit TV series My Fair Princess in 1998. He has since appeared in numerous television productions, including Profound Love in Heavy Rain, The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, Love of the Aegean Sea, Warriors of the Yang Clan, and My Bratty Princess.
In addition to television, Su has acted in over a dozen films produced in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and mainland China. He has also explored stage performance, starring in the play "Fragrance of Crysanthemums" in 2006.
As a singer, Su has released over 30 top-selling albums, both as a member of Little Tigers and as a solo artist. His most recent album, "Before and After," was released in 2004.
In recent years, Su has focused on film projects, including Fit Lover, L-O-V-E, A Singing Fairy, The Four Cupids, The Message, and Xinghai. He has also been involved in various charity work and has performed at several high-profile events.
In 2010, Su reunited with his former Little Tigers bandmates to perform at the CCTV Lunar New Year concert, marking the "Year of the Tiger."
