During the production of the iconic film "Miami Vice", Director Michael Mann had the unique opportunity to identify and select Alex as one of the esteemed trainers responsible for supporting the lead actors, Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx, in their preparation for their respective roles as undercover law enforcement officials.
This marked a significant turning point in Alex's career, as they landed a minor yet memorable part in the movie, and were subsequently struck by the striking similarities between the actors' creative process and the method employed by undercover operatives in developing their own distinctive and nuanced portrayals of the characters they were tasked with embodying.
