Alexander Lloyd is a multi-talented individual, born in Adelaide, with a rich heritage of Greek/Cypriot and Egyptian roots. Before embarking on a career in the entertainment industry, Alexander completed five years of Law School, demonstrating his strong academic foundation.
As an actor, writer, and award-winning producer, Alexander has had the privilege of training with some of the most respected acting coaches in the industry, including Les Chantery, Iain Sinclair, Damian Walshe-Howling, Michael Sheasby, Ben Mathews, Anthony Meindl, Erica Chestnut, Anthony Brandon Wong, Andy McPhee, and Jasper Bagg.
Alexander's extensive screen credits include appearances in Netflix's Gymnastics Academy, Become The One, I Fall To Pieces, La Brea (NBC),Five Bedrooms (Paramount+),and Why Are You Like This (Dir. Adam Murfet & Jessie Oldfield). He has also made notable feature film appearances in Awoken (Dir. Daniel Phillips) and A Second Chance: Rivals.
In addition to his screen work, Alexander has a strong background in theatre, with credits including Angus Cameron's acclaimed new work For Love Nor Money (Dir. Justin Nott),Gruesome Playground Injuries (Dir. Erica Chestnut),Shanley's Where's My Money (Dir. Hayden Burke),Blackrock (Dir. Nicola Bowman),Much Ado About Nothing (Dir. Tanya Schneider),and Taming of the Shrew (Dir. Jennifer Sarah Dean).
As a writer and producer, Alexander has been involved in various projects, including the play Gruesome Playground Injuries, and short films Cut Out and Glasshouse (selected in Adelaide Film Festival 2020),and his most recent short, The Unrequited Life of Farrah Bruce, which received the award for best short film at the Adelaide Film Festival 2023.
Alexander is also a classically trained pianist and a proud member of the MEAA.
