Andrew Shaw's life journey began in Brisbane, Australia, where he first took his first breath, but his early years were spent in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, providing him with a unique cultural backdrop that would shape his perspective.
As a member of a family with a strong athletic tradition, Andrew naturally followed in the footsteps of his predecessors, pursuing a career as a professional rugby union player, traveling the world and competing at the highest level until his abrupt retirement at the tender age of 24.
However, Andrew's competitive spirit and physicality did not go to waste, as he decided to transition into the world of acting in 2015. He brought his multifaceted mindset to the craft, utilizing his athletic background to excel in a variety of roles in Australian television shows, including Bite Club, Home and Away, and Les Norton.
In 2020, Andrew's hard work and dedication paid off, as he landed a lead role alongside esteemed actors Liam Neeson and Aiden Quinn in the action-packed movie Blacklight, directed by Mark Williams.
