Ashlee Nicolle Simpson was born on October 3, 1984, in the vibrant city of Waco, Texas, to Tina Simpson (née Drew),a devoted mother, and Joe Simpson, a psychologist and Baptist youth minister. From a tender age of four, Ashlee began dancing, and by the time she was eleven, she had earned the prestigious honor of being the youngest person ever accepted into the renowned School of American Ballet. By the age of fourteen, Ashlee was already dancing professionally on the road with her older sister, the accomplished pop singer Jessica Simpson. Throughout 1999-2001, Ashlee spent her time touring alongside her sibling, gaining a devoted fan base and honing her craft.
Ashlee's impressive resume includes appearances on the big screen, most notably in the film The Hot Chick (2002),alongside the talented Rob Schneider. She has also made television appearances, including a guest-starring role on the popular sitcom Malcolm in the Middle (2000).
