Suzy, a talented individual, was born on October 10, 1994, in the vibrant city of Gwangju, South Korea. Her early life was marked by a passion for the performing arts, which led her to attend Seoul Performing Arts High School. Prior to her debut in the entertainment industry, Suzy gained experience as an online shopping model, showcasing her charm and charisma to a wide audience.
In 2009, Suzy took a significant step by auditioning for Mnet Superstar K, a highly competitive program that aims to discover and nurture talented young artists. Although she made it through the preliminary round, Suzy unfortunately did not make the cut, but her determination and perseverance did not go unnoticed. A scout from JYP Entertainment, one of the most renowned entertainment companies in Korea, was impressed by her talent and soon offered her a spot as a trainee. Suzy seized this opportunity and began her rigorous training, honing her skills and perfecting her craft.
After a year of intense training, Suzy was paired with two other talented young women, Fei and Jia, to form a group. The trio's hard work and dedication soon paid off, and they were joined by Min, another talented artist, to complete the quartet.
