Benjamin Stender is a multifaceted individual, boasting a diverse array of talents and accomplishments. Born in Denmark, he began his educational journey at The European Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome, Italy, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in performing arts in 2012.
Prior to his formal education, Benjamin spent a significant portion of his adolescent life in Los Angeles, California, where he attended state school. Following his time in Los Angeles, he returned to Denmark and enrolled in the music high school Sank Annae Gymnasium, from which he graduated.
Benjamin's professional career began with his role as Christian de Neuvillette in the Italian production of Cyrano de Bergerac, which toured the country for two years. This initial success led to his first collaboration with Oscar-winning actor Murray Abraham in "The Unseen World," subsequently landing him numerous parts in Italian television productions and international films and series.
Throughout his career, Benjamin has balanced his work in front of the camera with his passion for stage performances, traveling between Rome and Copenhagen. In 2014, he received the prestigious Reumert Award for up-and-coming talent for his portrayal of the young Arthur Kipps in "The Woman in Black." Since 2016, he has been a permanent member of the Hamlet production at Kronborg Castle in Elsinore, Denmark, playing the iconic role of Hamlet every summer.
Some of Benjamin's notable works include the American-produced film "Gore," starring Kevin Spacey, and the international series "The Name of the Rose," based on Umberto Eco's bestseller from 1980, as well as the Spaghetti Western series "That Dirty Black Bag," produced by Bron Studio.
