Brian Letscher, a talented individual, was born and raised in the vicinity of Detroit, Michigan. Following his graduation with a degree in Economics from The University of Michigan, where he also played football, Brian relocated to New York City to pursue his passion for acting.
After a stint with the renowned Public Theater Shakespeare Lab, Brian landed various roles in film, television, and theatre. His notable works include the movies "Kate and Leopold" and "Puccini For Beginner's", as well as television shows such as "Law and Order: CI" and "SVU". On stage, he has appeared in productions like "Burning Blue".
Brian's work extended to The Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, Michigan, where he took on the lead role of Bo Decker in William Inge's "Bus Stop". The production received The Detroit Free Press' "Best Play" award. Moreover, Brian became a produced playwright when The Purple Rose developed and produced a full equity run of his debut play, "When The Lights Come On", which is based on his experiences in the world of college football.
Six years ago, Brian made the move to Los Angeles, where he has since appeared in over a dozen television shows. He has also become a member of The Pacific Residents Theatre Company and continues to write and develop his own work.
Currently, Brian can be seen in a recurring role on ABC's popular television series "Scandal".
