Charles Justo is a Dominican-American model and actor who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, to Dominican parents, he spent most of his early years in Plant City, Florida, where he was the middle child of two siblings. His older brother is a gym owner in Tampa, Florida, and is passionate about health and fitness.
After college, Charles moved to Miami with only $50 in his pocket, a car full of gas, and a dream. He was discovered on the runways of Fashion Week and Mercedes Benz Swim Week, walking for designers such as Argyle by Russell Simmons, Ed Hardy, Diesel, and Perry Ellis. He soon landed campaigns for big brand companies like Jaguar and Sean John.
Charles's first screen appearance was on the Spanish televised show "Sabado Gigante," where he won the title of Mr. Macho Man, a cash prize, and a cruise trip for two. He then went on to audition for the music video "I'm Single Again" by Miami's Trina, which was directed by Bille Woodruff. The next few years, he found himself on the sets of big-budget commercials, including Rooms to Go, Budlight, and Daisy Sour Cream.
He made his film debut in the award-winning indie film "Out of My Hand" and has since racked up several guest-starring roles, including "The Inspectors" on CBS, Sleepy Hollow, and Modern Family. Charles played the lead role of Victor on Tyler Perry's hit show "Too Close to Home" on TLC for two seasons.
In addition to his work in television and film, Charles has also modeled for GQ magazine, saying it was an absolute pleasure to work with fashion icon Michael Kors.
