Chris Quattlebaum was born to Vernice Clanton and the late Christopher Quattlebaum in Maryland. From a young age, he was exposed to the harsh realities of life as he watched his parents struggle with addiction. To cope with this challenging environment, Chris found solace in the world of Fine Arts. His passion for acting began at the tender age of 12 when he landed a recurring role as a street kid in the HBO mini-series, THE CORNER. This early experience sparked a fire within him, and he was soon hooked on the art of acting.
Before long, Chris found himself reprising his role as Savino Bratten in HBO's critically acclaimed series, The Wire, for two consecutive seasons. His impressive performances in various indie films solidified his status as a talented young actor. In 2013, Chris made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, driven by his unwavering dedication to his craft.
As a devoted father to two young daughters, Christian Clanton (11) and Courtney Clanton (3),Chris is deeply committed to leaving a lasting legacy for his children. He has made a solemn promise to his girls that before he passes on, they will know that their father was a remarkable individual who made a significant impact in the world.
