Cory Blevins, a talented individual, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan, where the auto industry played a significant role in his early life. Despite being surrounded by the hum of machinery, his passion for the performing arts soon took center stage. During his formative years at Western Michigan University, he began to hone his craft, eventually transitioning to the esteemed MFA program at Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Acting.
As he pursued his graduate degree, Cory's talent did not go unnoticed, and he landed a role in the critically acclaimed film Palmetto, directed by Volker Schlöndorff and starring the likes of Woody Harrelson and Elisabeth Shue. This experience not only refined his skills but also provided a platform for him to showcase his abilities to a wider audience.
Cory's thirst for knowledge and experience led him to travel to London to delve deeper into the world of Shakespeare. Upon his return, he made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where he has since made a name for himself by guest starring in a plethora of television shows, including Dexter, Law & Order, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, N.C.I.S., House M.D., and Justified.
In 2015, Cory's talents were once again recognized when he was cast in the highly acclaimed F/X miniseries The People vs OJ, starring the impressive trio of John Travolta, Sarah Paulson, and Cuba Gooding Jr. His most recent endeavor saw him land the role of Agent Buchholz in the reboot of Elmore Leonard's Get Shorty for EPIX, which is currently in production.
In addition to his film and television endeavors, Cory continues to be a regular fixture in the ABC series Fresh Off The Boat, playing the character of Gary Olsen. His dedication to his craft has also earned him a spot as a member of The Television Academy, a prestigious honor bestowed upon him in 2017.
