Dan Lawler, a remarkably talented and versatile American creative force, emerged from the city of Rochester, New York, where his artistic journey first began. In 2003, he made the bold decision to relocate to the vibrant city of Los Angeles, a move that would ultimately shape the trajectory of his remarkable career. Upon arriving in LA, Dan enrolled at The Groundlings Theatre & School, a renowned institution dedicated to fostering the art of improvisation. As he delved deeper into the world of improv, he simultaneously began to explore his passion for acting and stand-up comedy, laying the groundwork for a multifaceted career that would soon unfold.
Dan has been actively involved in a multitude of projects, with his most recent work encompassing a series of collaborations with Miramax, a renowned film production company. These collaborations have resulted in the creation of various feature films, including He's All That, which was released in 2021, followed by Sick in 2022, Old Dads in 2023, The Beekeeper in 2023, Strange Darling in 2024, and Here in 2024, among others.
In addition to his work with Miramax, Dan has also built an impressive production portfolio, which includes Jungleland, a feature film released in 2020, and Our Friend, a film produced by Scott Free Productions in 2019. Furthermore, Dan has worked on Los Angeles units for several notable projects, including The Map of Tiny Perfect Things, a film produced by FilmNation Entertainment, and Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer, a Netflix original series.
