Danielle's journey in the film industry began in her hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, where she was initially introduced to the set as an extra by a friend. As she immersed herself in various aspects of filmmaking, she developed a particular fondness for stand-in work, which ultimately led to her being upgraded on multiple occasions.
Seeking to further hone her skills, Danielle decided to undergo training in stunts, with the guidance of her co-coordinator, Eric Bryson, who is a renowned expert in the field and had previously served as the chair for the Stunt Committee in Toronto.
Despite having no formal acting training, Danielle recognized the value of learning from experienced professionals and enrolled in a class taught by the esteemed acting coach and Gemini award winner, Jeff Seymour. Through this training, she was able to refine her craft and develop a deeper understanding of the acting process.
However, Danielle had long struggled with the most daunting aspect of acting: line learning. She had often found it a daunting task, until she discovered the Streamlining technique developed by Deanne Henry. This innovative approach revolutionized her approach to line learning, allowing her to tackle the challenge with renewed enthusiasm and confidence.
Looking to the future, Danielle's aspirations include exploring the possibility of creating a sitcom that features her identical twin. This project would not only allow her to showcase her comedic talents but also provide a unique opportunity to collaborate with her twin, with whom she shares a special bond.
