David Bloom has been actively involved in the entertainment industry since 1980, primarily as a theatre artist, with a multifaceted career spanning various roles such as playwright, director, dramaturg, producer, and performer.
Throughout his career, David has made numerous film and television appearances, including notable roles in popular shows like 'X-Files', 'Supernatural', 'Psyche', 'Stargate SG-1', 'Stargate: Atlantis', 'Once Upon A Time', 'iZombie', and 'Under The Bridge'. He has also appeared in various films, such as 'Shooter', 'Okja', the Academy Award-winning 'Rainbow War', the indie classic 'The Reflecting Skin', and numerous Hallmark projects. Furthermore, David has performed in numerous radio plays for the Canadian Broadcasting Company.
In addition to his film and television work, David has had a successful theatre career, with notable acting projects including 'Seventeen' (Western Gold Theatre),where veteran actors play the roles of teenagers, 'Transmissions' for Chrysalis/Proximity Arts, 'The Designated Mourner' for Felix Culpa, and the premiere of Governor-General's Award-winning play 'Unity 1918' for Touchstone Theatre.
