David Shore is a renowned television writer and producer, whose extensive career has spanned multiple genres and shows. Prior to creating the critically acclaimed series House, Shore wrote for several notable programs, including the cult favorite Due South, NYPD Blue, and EZ Streets. He also served as the head writer and supervising producer on the Canadian television series Traders, which he developed.
Shore's impressive resume also includes being part of the writing team for the Emmy Award-winning first season of The Practice. Furthermore, he was twice nominated for an Emmy as a producer on the popular series Law & Order, and went on to executive-produce both Family Law and Hack.
One of Shore's most notable achievements is the creation of the hit series House, which has won numerous awards, including the People's Choice and the Peabody Awards. Shore himself won the HUMANITAS Prize and an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for his episode "Three Stories" on House.
