Dean Sharpe is a multifaceted individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as an actor, writer, and producer. Born in Lanett, Alabama, Dean initially pursued a career in athletics, signing a football scholarship with Alabama A&M University and even playing semi-professionally for the Rocket City Titans.
However, Dean's passion for acting soon took over, and he made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles in August 2012. With no prior credits or formal training, Dean's determination and raw talent quickly earned him SAG-AFTRA eligibility within just four months, making him an active union member.
Dean further honed his craft at the prestigious Speiser/Sturges Actors Studio in Los Angeles, focusing on foundation, technique, and scene study. He also has the distinction of being an alumnus of the renowned Improv Olympic (iO) West, where he developed his improvisational skills. Dean regularly performs in Los Angeles with various troupes, including Max, Da Drought, and The Heavyweightz.
