Demosthenes, a native New Yorker, has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed theater directors such as Bartlett Sher at Broadway's Belasco Theatre, Doug Hughes at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater, and Howard Davies at The National Theatre in London. Throughout his illustrious career, Demosthenes has had the distinction of originating leading roles in numerous world-premiere productions, including the Drama-Desk-nominated "Aftermath" at New York Theatre Workshop, showcasing his remarkable range and versatility as an actor.
With his exceptional talent for playing characters of diverse nationalities and cultures, Demosthenes has effortlessly navigated both American and British television and film productions, sharing the screen with renowned actors such as Tina Fey, Louis CK, Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Graham, Peter Mullan, Michael Zegen, and David Schwimmer, to name a few.
Prior to embarking on his acting career, Demosthenes earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, with a double major in Politics & History, and a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University. Under the guidance of the accomplished Elizabeth Dillon at HB Studios, Demosthenes began his acting studies and has been working as a professional actor since 2001.
