Andrew Alfred Scott, also known as Drew Scott, is an entrepreneur and entertainer, recognized as a prominent television personality. He co-hosts HGTV's popular series Property Brothers, alongside his identical twin brother Jonathan Silver Scott, focusing on helping families find their dream homes without breaking their budget.
As a young actor, Drew began his career in theater, improv, and sketch comedy. He made earlier television appearances on Smallville, Breaker High, and Madison. Drew developed an interest in directing and producing while in high school and started investing in real estate to fund their own productions.
In 2004, Drew refocused on acting, directing, and producing, becoming heavily involved in producing independent films. He and Jonathan founded their production company, Scott Brothers Entertainment, which evolved into a multifaceted media entity creating scripted and unscripted productions.
The brothers' television show concept for Property Brothers led to multiple spin-offs, including Brother vs. Brother, Property Brothers at Home, and Property Brothers at Home on the Ranch. They continue to produce multi-genre programming for various networks, starring other talent.
As co-founders and executive producers of Scott Brothers Entertainment, Drew and Jonathan showcased their passion for music by releasing two country music songs on iTunes in 2015. Their first book, Dream Home: The Property Brothers' Ultimate Guide To Finding And Fixing Your Perfect House, released in 2016 and debuted on the New York Times and Wall Street Journal Best-Seller Lists.
Drew also has a passion for philanthropy, working with Children's Hospitals and coordinating initiatives to help underprivileged youth. He collaborates with the network of artists involved in Paul Haggis Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ),a non-profit organization that supports communities in Haiti through programs in education and health, helping raise millions of dollars and global awareness for APJ's efforts.
