Dylan Bierk, a native of Peterborough, Ontario, is the daughter of renowned Canadian artist David Bierk. Her two accomplished brothers are Sebastian Bach, formerly the lead vocalist of Skid Row, and Zack Bierk, a professional NHL goaltender who has played for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
After completing her high school education, Dylan embarked on a successful international modeling career in North America and Europe, concurrently maintaining a presence in the acting world. During this period, she secured roles in several short independent films, including The Trip Ship, Dying Young, and Agnes and Jude, as well as becoming a familiar face on television by hosting the Goodstuff Guide and serving as a guest-host on the popular lifestyle network, Life.
As she continued to pursue her passion for acting, Dylan took a hiatus from her modeling career to enroll in the University of Waterloo's theatre arts program, where she performed lead roles in the stage productions of To Future Eleanors and Sympathy For Jane.
More recently, Dylan has been busy with a multitude of acting projects, including the films Webs (2003),Thought Crimes, Jason X (2001),the feature film Bait (2000),opposite Jamie Foxx, and the television series The Relic Hunter, P.R., and D.C., which was executive produced by the renowned Dick Wolf. Additionally, Dylan has recently appeared in a guest-starring role as "Freya" on the popular science fiction series Andromeda. She currently resides in Toronto.
