Florence is a multifaceted creative force, exceling as an actor, writer, and director across various mediums, including film, theatre, and television. She has been commissioned by BBC drama and was selected for Channel Four Drama's esteemed 2017 screenwriting programme.
Florence's notable achievements include her TV pilot, Raging, which was featured on the prestigious Brit List 2019. Her second play, Eggs, which she wrote and performed in, has been published by Nick Hern Books, while her latest play, Straight Lines, was a finalist for the 2019 Platform Presents Playwright's Prize.
Florence's debut feature film, Two Sisters, is currently in development with Catalyst Films and Snapper, following her selection for the Torino Film Lab Extended 2019. Her award-winning short film, A Family Affair (2019),has garnered international recognition, playing at renowned festivals such as the BFI London Film Festival, Cleveland International, and Palm Springs International ShortFest.
A Family Affair has also won several accolades, including Best of the Fest at both Inside Out Toronto and Inside Out Ottawa, as well as Best British Comedy at the Discover Film Festival and Best Actor at the Manhattan Global Film Festival.
Florence's acting credits include her role as Tatyana in the Hulu TV show, The Great, written by Tony McNamara and starring Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult. The show's second season is currently in production, following the success of the first season, which aired in the US in May 2020 and on Channel 4 in January 2021.
