Forrest Goodluck makes his big screen debut alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Domnhall Gleeson, and Will Poulter in the epic drama "The Revenant", directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu. The film tells the story of legendary hunter Hugh Glass, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, who is left for dead by his companions after a bear mauling. Goodluck takes on the role of Hawk, the son of Hugh Glass.
Prior to his breakout role, Goodluck had a strong foundation in acting, participating in community theater and short films since the age of ten. He is also a prolific filmmaker, having won numerous awards for his work, including the Seattle International Film Festival, Taos Shortz Film Festival, LA Skins Festival, and the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian and SWAIA Santa Fe Indian Market Class X Youth Winner.
Goodluck's film work earned him a spot as one of Sundance Institute's 2015 Full Circle Fellows. As a member of the Diné, Mandan, Hidatsa, and Tsimshian tribes, Goodluck is the son of Laurie and Kevin, a Practice Manager and Internal Medicine Physician, respectively. He is a student at the prestigious Bosque School and studies drama with acclaimed acting teachers Angela Gibbs and Judith Weston in Los Angeles.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Goodluck is currently finishing his high school studies while pursuing his acting career.
