Gary's romantic journey began when he tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Suzi, during their junior year of college at The University of Akron, in the charming city of Akron, Ohio, where they grew up.
As Gary's professional career progressed, he was promoted to Los Angeles in April 1999, while working for The Guinness Import Company. This significant career milestone marked a turning point in his life, as he eventually left the corporate world behind in May 2004 to pursue his passion for acting full-time.
Gary and Suzi, a loving and devoted couple, dedicate a considerable amount of their spare time to philanthropic endeavors, particularly those that benefit animals in need. Over the years, they have been blessed with the loving companionship of seven rescued stray cats, which has brought immense joy and fulfillment to their lives.
