Geovanny Corvera is a veteran fight choreographer, assistant coordinator, action designer, and stuntman who discovered his passion for martial arts at a young age. Born in San Miguel El Salvador, Geovanny and his family relocated to the United States, specifically the Metropolitan DC area of Virginia, where he honed his skills on the competition circuit.
As a child, Geovanny established himself as a force in his discipline, earning a top ten rating from the North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) and the National Black Belt League (NBL) in forms, weapons, and sparring divisions.
In 2000, Geovanny made the move to Hollywood, where he began a rewarding career in television, film, and streaming programming. He further developed his martial arts foundation, achieving a Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, Capoeira, and gymnastics.
Throughout his career, Geovanny has appeared in over 120 productions, including performances for Marvel and DC Comics, as well as numerous popular television shows. He has received numerous recognitions, including a Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performances in Iron Man (2009) and Pirates of the Caribbean at World's End (2008).
Geovanny has also showcased his acting skills in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Marvel),Hood Rats, Harsh Times (with Christian Bale),Kickin it (Disney),The District (CBS),and other projects. His diverse experience in filmmaking and extensive skill set, including car hits, fire burns, high falls, stair falls, wire gags, driving, boxing, martial arts, and gymnastics, provide Geovanny with a unique perspective on the filmmaking process.
In his free time, Geovanny can be found at the gym or training/teaching others at reputable training centers on both coasts of the US.
