Grace Chilton, a talented individual, embarked on her journey in the world of acting by graduating from the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Acting, and impressing the judges with her outstanding performance, winning the Highly Commended Spotlight Prize.
Following her academic success, she further honed her craft by training with the esteemed National Youth Theatre REP Company. Her impressive screen debut came when she landed the lead role of "Reg" in the short film "Exchange and Mart", opposite the accomplished Ewen Bremner. This critically acclaimed film made its world premiere at several prominent festivals, including the renowned Sundance and Berlinale, and received a nomination for Best Short Film at the Scottish BAFTA Awards.
Chilton's subsequent role was in the neo-noir indie feature "Cold Blow Lane", alongside the talented Susan Lynch, which screened at the prestigious Working Title Film Festival in Italy's oldest running cinema, and was also showcased at the iconic Pinewood Studios. Her impressive track record continued when she won the "Lift Off's Feature Seasons" award, leading to her film being featured at several prominent festivals.
Chilton's notable performances also include her role in Ben Sharrock's critically acclaimed and double BAFTA-nominated film "Limbo", which garnered four BAFTA Scotland awards. Her extensive television credits include her appearances in the BBC/Mammoth production "World on Fire S2", alongside Lesley Manville and Mark Bonnar, as well as her portrayal of DC Alice Hardy in the six-part thriller "Payback", starring Peter Mullan and Morven Christie, which premiered on ITV and Britbox.
