J. Claude Deering was born in the United Kingdom to a mother of Irish descent and a father from Jordan, subsequently adopted by American parents and naturalized as a United States citizen. His extensive credits in the entertainment industry include his work on films such as Side Effects (2013),directed by the renowned Steven Soderbergh, as well as The Ugly Truth (2009),a Columbia Pictures production.
In addition to his film work, Deering has also made appearances on several television shows, including recurring roles on NCIS (2003),a CBS series, and North Palm Wrestling (2008),a MTV production. His other notable television credits include Inside the Box (2009),an ABC/Shondaland series, and a recurring guest lead in the horror comedy series 12 Deadly Days (2016),a YouTube Originals/Blumhouse production.
Deering's work extends beyond the screen, as he has appeared in a variety of national commercials for well-known brands such as Dunkin' Donuts, JEEP, QuikTrip, Bank of America, and Workday.

Deering holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he refined his craft and prepared himself for a successful career in the entertainment industry.
