Jacqueline Buckingham Anderson is a multifaceted individual who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry as an actress, writer, producer, director, and lifestyle entrepreneur.
She wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the female empowerment comedy series "The Box with Jacqueline" on Amazon, which was featured in over a dozen film festivals across the United States and Canada. The show's success was met with censorship from major companies, who equated the female body with being "offensive". This led Jacqueline to design a product line dedicated to ending shame against women and female sexuality.
Jacqueline has also had a successful career in film, co-starring in Amazon's first film "Portrait" opposite Minnie Driver, directed by Jordan Scott. She has also appeared in films such as "Half-Baked" alongside Dave Chappelle, "Intimate Affairs" directed by Alan Rudolph, and "Corpus Collossum" directed by Michael Snow, which was exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art in 2017.
In addition to her work in film, Jacqueline has been an activist for global health, writing and producing a documentary film for AMPATH's Orphans and Vulnerable Children Program in Kenya. She has also hosted "10 Adventures of a Lifetime" for Outside Television and has been a frequent keynote speaker.
As an on-air expert, Jacqueline has worked with Fox and has formed partnerships with major brands such as Gap, J. Crew, Nordstrom, and Macy's to create a web series titled "Style Meets Life", which aims to empower women.
Outside of the entertainment industry, Jacqueline has founded and run businesses, trained in mind-body medicine, contributed as a civic leader in the arts, raised two children, and written extensively. She has also created the first user-generated art collections for over 2 million square feet of healthcare space in the Midwest, directed multi-million dollar design projects for major institutions and private estates across the country, co-founded a wellness center in Dallas, studied Lifestyle Medicine and Neuroscience at Harvard, and led a global school curriculum throughout Australasia.
Throughout her career, Jacqueline's professional passion has been to empower women and the female psyche for the betterment of humanity.
