Jade Carter's formative years were spent on a small farm near Ponoka, Alberta, Canada, where he spent most of his time riding his horse, participating in various sports, and indulging in reading by the fireplace, getting lost in the pages of his favorite books. However, his life took an unexpected turn at the tender age of twelve, when he was severely injured in a tractor accident, leaving doctors skeptical about his chances of survival, let alone walking again. Against all odds, Jade defied the predictions and, after two months of arduous recovery, walked out of the hospital doors, returning home to his family.
During his prolonged convalescence, Jade learned invaluable life lessons, with the most significant being the importance of seizing the day, as he realized that life can be fleeting and unpredictable. This newfound philosophy sparked a passion for acting and travel, which he pursued with unrelenting enthusiasm. Jade's academic achievements were impressive, as he graduated top of his class from the Red Deer College Theatre Studies Performance program.
After spending two years in the picturesque mountain town of Banff, where he owned his own business, Jade made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue his acting dreams and explore the world. His journey was marked by rapid success, as he landed guest starring roles on popular TV shows such as Hang Time, Malcolm in the Middle, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Ladies Man, to name a few.
However, it was his breakout role as Sergei Zhukov, the Russian brother to the star of the CBS dramatic series JAG, that cemented his status as a talented actor. This initial success was followed by a string of impressive performances on shows like Cold Case, NCIS, 24, and many more.
As his acting career flourished, Jade's wanderlust became increasingly difficult to ignore. He and his wife embarked on a thrilling backpacking adventure across Western Europe, immersing themselves in the rich history and culture of ancient cities like London, Paris, and Rome. Their escapades included a heart-pumping experience where they narrowly escaped death while jumping off a moving train in Italy!
The allure of the world's most remote corners soon beckoned, and Jade and his wife embarked on an epic journey to live in a campervan and drive across Australia for nine months, with no agenda but to explore the land and its wonders. After this incredible adventure, Jade refocused on his acting career, landing roles on shows like House, The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, and Days of Our Lives, as well as several feature films.
Throughout his journey, Jade remains mindful of the hard lessons he learned during his youth, cherishing the value of living life to the fullest and being grateful for every moment, no matter how fleeting.
