Jason Peck is an accomplished actor, director, and founder and Co-Artistic Director of the esteemed Thrown Stone. His impressive directing credits include the US Premiere of Ross Dunsmore's Milk, the East Coast Premiere of Anna Moench's Birds of North America, and the Summer Reading Series production of Kate Moira Ryan's Blink, among others.
As a director, Jason has received recognition from the North Carolina Capital Awards, the Seven Angels Halo Awards, and most recently, a Broadway World nomination for his direction of Birds of North America. He has collaborated with renowned playwrights on numerous new works, including Eric Bogosian, Jane Anderson, Mark Ravenhill, Jason Wells, and Charles Mee.
Jason's acting credits are equally impressive, featuring performances in Off-Broadway and Regional productions, such as God of Carnage, van gogh, Far Away, The Underpants, and The Dismantling of Lemuel Pitkin. His television and film credits include In Her Shoes, The King of Queens, Family Law, The District, LA Law: The Movie, NYPD Blue, Jesse, Hollywood Safari, George Lucas in Love, and three seasons on the cult-hit Roswell.
Throughout his career, Jason has received several awards and nominations for his acting work, including the Los Angeles Critics' Drama-logue Award, the Backstage West Garland Award, and the Sarasota Herald's Curtain Call Award. Jason holds an MFA in Acting from the FSU/Asolo Acting Conservatory and a BFA in Acting from the University of Southern California.
