Jasper, a talented actor born in the United States to a British father and raised in Australia, holds three passports. He has recently completed filming for Ricky Stanicky (2024) and Sleeping Dogs (2024),and appeared in BBC's The Tourist (2022).
In 2017, Jasper landed a lead role in the Starz series Counterpart (2017) alongside J.K. Simmons. In 2015, he played the role of Campbell, a sword-fighting master spy, in the international spy-thriller Joker Game (2015) alongside Kazuya Kamenashi and Kyôko Fukada. The film achieved number one on the Japanese Box Office and Blue Ray sales.
Jasper has an extensive range of series regular and featured lead guest roles, showcasing his unique characters. Some of his notable roles include Two-Stroke in Matchbox's The Straits (2012),and D'arcy the Dandy in Jonathan M. Shiff's Pirate Islands (2003). He has also made guest appearances on iconic series such as Bed of Roses (2008),Winners & Losers (2011),Blue Heelers (1994),Neighbours (1985),City Homicide (2006),Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (2012),Stingers (1998),Round the Twist (1989),and Thunderstone (1999).
Jasper graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 1990. He began his career in 1984 with a role alongside James Coburn, and has since worked alongside notable actors such as Russell Crowe, Zac Efron, John Cena, Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Ioan Gruffudd, John Boyega, Geoffrey Rush, Heath Ledger, Guy Pearce, Rachel Griffiths, James Nesbitt, and Brian Cox.
As a mentor, Jasper directs international self-tests and works one-on-one with actors, both in person and via Skype, to enhance their approach to their roles.
