Jasper Randall's musical journey began in a small town within the coastal mountain range of Oregon, where he was exposed to music at an early age. He went on to earn a music degree from Azusa Pacific University, followed by graduate studies in composition at the University of Southern California.
After completing his education, Randall had the opportunity to work alongside renowned film composer Christopher Young, while simultaneously pursuing his own scoring projects. This experience not only honed his skills as a composer but also allowed him to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
Randall's original choral works and arrangements have been performed by some of the most prestigious groups in the industry, including the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Los Angeles Chamber Singers, Golden Bridge, and the Santa Clarita Master Chorale.
In addition to his work as a composer and arranger, Randall is also a highly sought-after vocal and choral contractor. With a career spanning over 600 film and television projects, as well as dozens of albums, video games, and live performances, he has worked with a wide range of artists and producers, including The Weeknd, Florence and the Machine, Daniel Lopatin, Tenacious D, Greg Kurstin, Josh Groban, Glen Ballard, Halsey, Harvey Mason Jr., and Lorde.
Randall's extensive experience in orchestral film music has had a profound impact on his composition style, which is characterized by a sense of journey, line, and passion. He has had the privilege of conducting orchestral scores for some of the most esteemed film composers in the industry, including Steve Jablonsky, Lorne Balfe, Harry Gregson-Williams, Kevin Kiner, and Rupert Gregson-Williams.
