Josha's journey in the world of acting began in 2006 with his debut in musical theater productions such as 'Kuifje: De Zonnetempel', 'Ciske de Rat', and 'The Sound of Music'. His educational background includes studying at the Lucia Marthas Performance Academy and CodArts.
His early screen appearances included a lead role in the youth series 'Naranjina en de Kadekapers', followed by roles in 'Spangas' and guest appearances in 'Dokter Tinus' and 'Verborgen Verhalen'. In 2018, he graduated from the AHK Theatre School in Amsterdam with a Bachelor's degree in acting.
Josha's theatrical endeavors include performances in 'Gender' and 'Bromance' by Theater group Oostpool and director Timothy de Gilde, as well as 'Oedipus' by Ivo van Hove's International Theater Amsterdam and director Robert Icke. He has also appeared in several short films and the television film 'Just Friends', which received numerous international awards.
In 2018, he was recognized as a shooting star at the Subtitle Film Festival. In 2020, he starred as fighter pilot Rutger in the international series 'High Flyers'. His recent work includes starring alongside Rosamund Pike as Rand Al'Thor in the hit show 'The Wheel of Time', which premiered on Amazon Prime Video. After completing the first season, he finished filming the second season and season three has already been green-lit.
