Joshua's life story is a fascinating tale of artistic expression and exploration, spanning multiple continents and a wide range of creative pursuits.
Born in Georgia, Joshua's family relocated to Germany and Italy during his childhood, where he developed a passion for fencing, horseback riding, and playing the saxophone. He was an accomplished fencer, earning a 2nd place finish at the 1998 World Youth Games in Moscow, and was also a talented musician, ranking 3rd in the US and holding the 1st Chair position in his high school's All-State concert band.
Joshua's love of performing led him to attend Salem High School, where he was heavily involved in the theatre and music departments. He shone on the main stage, starring in productions such as Amadeus at the International Thespian Conference in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Following high school, Joshua pursued a degree in Regional Theatre at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis. During his time at the conservatory, he appeared in a range of productions, including The Laramie Project, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Macbeth.
After graduating, Joshua made the move to Los Angeles, where he quickly landed guest star roles on Crossing Jordan and American Dreams, working alongside esteemed actors such as Sally Field, Eriq La Salle, and Jerry O'Connell.
In 2006, Joshua and his twin brother booked the iconic film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which earned widespread critical acclaim and numerous award nominations. This experience allowed him to work with some of the industry's most respected directors and actors.
Joshua has since appeared in a range of films, including Nomad, Now or Never, and Devil's Creek, which earned multiple nominations at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival. He has also guest-starred on popular TV shows such as Cold Case and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
In addition to his acting career, Joshua is an avid fencer, golfer, and gun enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with his dog. He is also the Technical Director at Stuart Roger's Studio, where he attends classes.
