Jowharah Jones, a native of Philadelphia, made the bold decision to leave her hometown at the tender age of seven to attend the prestigious Milton Hershey Boarding School in Hershey, Pennsylvania. For the next ten years, she thrived in this nurturing environment, graduating with honors in 1999.
At the tender age of 17, Jowharah was well-groomed, disciplined, and ready for a change of pace. She relocated to New Orleans and enrolled as a mathematics major at Xavier University of Louisiana. However, her free spirit soon yearned for a new challenge, and she moved north to take on the vibrant streets of New York City.
Ms. Jones began her acting training at the esteemed Tisch School of Arts at New York University. For the next four years, she devoted herself to her craft, working two jobs and relentlessly auditioning for theater, film, and television shows. Her hard work paid off, and she booked her first commercial within two years of training, followed by several TV shows.
After graduating from Tisch, Jowharah took a well-deserved six-month hiatus to travel Europe. Upon her return, she settled back in New York before making the bold decision to relocate to Hollywood.
Today, Jowharah resides in Hollywood with her beloved dog Max, where she maintains a daily yoga practice, prioritizes a healthy lifestyle, and continues to hone her craft. With a stage show in development, numerous television credits under her belt, and a deep desire to expand consciousness and awareness through the arts, we can expect to see, hear, and feel more of Jowharah Jones both on and off screen.
